This is our new Big & Bold Ruby Slippers Set
I used various yellow Distress Oxide inks to make the background.
Distress Oxides Used: Mustard Seed, Scattered Straw, Squeezed Lemonade, and Antique Linen.
I also used Catherine Pooler's Midnight Ink for the shoes and the sentiment.
I colored the shoes with a Copic marker ( Lipstick Red R29) before I glued the red rhinestones on. I found these on Amazon.
Then I colored her legs and her socks with colored pencils. I used Prismacolor pencils. I tried to make Dorothy's socks look like they did in the movie.
I stamped the shoes again and cut out just the bows. I then colored them with the same copic marker and added Nuvo Jewel Drops in translucent. I used just a glue dot to add the bows. Then I used foam tape to adhere my shoes onto the front of the card.
Finished it off with a sentiment on the outside and one on the inside.
Next up is the our Season Girl~Autumn-Leaves. We have already released our Summer Season Girl so keep on the lookout for Winter and Spring!
If you are intimidated with water coloring, this is SO easy to do and looks awesome! All I did was get my brush wet with these Inks one at a time, then dipped my brush in water and splashed the ink onto the watercolor paper.
I stamped my image in black and colored her boots using the Mandarin Spice Ink from Catherine Poolers new Spa Collection Paradise Found mini pads set.
I mounted that image onto a cute little pumpkin face paper from CP's Fall Pic N Mix pack.
I stamped my sentiment in the same black ink and added some ink around the edges with more Mandarin Spice. Mounted that with some foam tape.

Your lovely legs autumn card is very pretty with the color splash technique. But you hit it out of the park with the red rhinestones on those right slippers. Wow! So gorgeous! TFS!
